Stoneybrook Pond
We have begun to "winter" in Estero, FL. We live on a golf course and right below our condo is a pond. I love watching the birds and other animals come to visit. I paper pieced some of the animals that have come this year...and the highlight of my stay has to be the day the American Bald Eagle came swooped down, caught a fish, and enjoyed its catch on the 10th hole!

Wanted something to store and haul library books...fell in love with "Sanibel" by Moda and thought that would be great for a seasonal tote. I even purchased the fabric at Sanibel Island...shhhh don't tell Jenny. I used straight-line vertical quilting.

Jelly Roll Travel tote
Fell in love with a version of this tote in a fabric store in Danville, IL. Thought and thought about it and then ordered the pattern on line...I love batiks and I had several jelly rolls so I was set to go. Used the "Bosal" foam interfacing the first time and absolutely love it.
