Floating Square for Tyler
Tyler is my Grand son and he is turning 17. I wanted to make him a quilt he would love and I think I did that! Thanks to MSQC for the pattern and these are Tyler's colors, well not truly, he wanted all black and red, but I had to brighten in up a bit and He LOVED IT!

I spy for two Brothers
After watching Jenny's tutorial a few weeks ago on the I spy quilt and then purchasing the daily deal I realized this quilt would make a perfect gift for the assistant principal at my daughters school who is getting ready to have her second boy. Her oldest is only 5, so I figured this would be something great they can lay the baby on and then play a game at the same time. Plus as they grow older they can both play. This is also the first quilt I have finished start to finish and used a longarm for the first time.

My Flower Garden
I wanted to make a small quilt just for me. After watching the tutorial on "Bordered Squares", I decided that was the design I'd use. This quilt is made using only scraps and bits & pieces of fabrics that I already had available. A long arm quilter friend did the quilting for me as payment for a beginning quilt class I taught at her shop. I love how this project turned out.

I pieced this quilt many years ago and had never gotten it quilted. I took it to a local quilt shop to have the quilting done just recently. I think she did a wonderful job on the quilting. The pattern is from Eleanor Burns. I still have to put the binding on.

Yellow Brick Road charity quilt (top only)
Our guild provides quilts for several local organizations. I checked out a fabric kit that our community service group put together (from donated fabric) to make this quilt top. Another person will quilt and bind it, then it will be donated to someone in need.

Wild Dresden Coin
I love bright colors and wild prints just as much as I love more traditional collections. I purchased two layer cakes just waiting on the perfect pattern and found it in the Dresden Coin. I did make mine longer than the MSQC video instructs. This will fit a full size bed with plenty of drop on each side. My only problem now is that all of my daughters love this quilt and are begging me for it. :)

My Very First Quilt!
After several years away from sewing, my dear cousin convinced me to start quilting. I finally jumped in as I've always wondered if i could quilt. I needed to get my hands going again, so I decided on a Jelly Roll Race design.
