Summer Breeze Double Irish Chain
This is my first major quilt, completely inspired by and made for my mom. Her favorite colors are blue and yellow and she loves to garden so the Summer Breeze line by Moda Fabrics was perfect!

Christmas Quilt
I wanted to make a quilt I could bring out every Holiday season and lay over the couch by the tree. I found a beautiful fat quarter in a quilt shop when I visited Panama City Beach this summer. It's called Holiday Flourish by Robert Kaufman. I was inspired by a pattern called Brimfield by Moda for Layer Cakes, but I used all my own measurements to change the size of the squares.

Middleton Place Daisy Chain
For Christmas every person in my family got me a different Jelly Roll lol This is the first quilt I decided to make with all my gifted fabric. I'm very proud of it, and used my Brother embroidery machine to help with the quilting. I got the pattern out of a book for Jellyroll quilts.

A Mum for a Mum Bars Quilt
For Christmas last year my youngest sister got a jelly roll with this pretty fabric. I did not know what to do with it for sometime until I saw the pretty fabric I used as sashing. After I had a clear vision I put this together and gave it to her for her birthday. I used my DZ820E to do the flowerly stitching.

Yellow Flowers Lap Quilt
Shortly after I made my mom the summer breeze quit she rested a quilt in her favorite color, yellow. Zoey Christine Lemon Chiffon was exactly what I was looking for! I used a few different fabrics from the line and went with some simple squares to keep it soft. I purchased the pattern for the threaded rose from digitechembroidery.com and used my embroidery machine to stitch it.

Baby Quilt in Herringbone
I love half square triangles! There is so much you can do with them! I must've laid out my squares in about ten different patterns before deciding on this one. I feel so blessed living among such beautiful flowers as they seem to be the backdrop of many of my photos. This one is no exception, the hydrangeas in Japan are simply amazing.

Autumn Quatrefoil & Friendship Braid Table Topper
I loved Jenny's tutorial for the quatrefoil and wanted to use it for an autumn table topper. I purchased Jinny Beyer's beautiful "Bedfordshire Autumn" layer cake and wanted to show off all the beautiful prints and colors, so I added Natalie's friendship braid to either side of the quatrefoil block. I used a lovely leaf print in coordinating rich fall colors for the backing and binding. I really love the colors and how it came together. I think am going to try this in Christmas colors next!

Honest Abe
I found the pattern in an old Good House Keeping book I found in the library, I was struck by the beauty of the quilt and the uniqueness of it as well. It took me 2 years to finish it, I also had to change the star blocks to update it I didn't want to do all those little pieces so I simplified the block. The name of the quilt comes from the history of the pattern, the book states that Abe Lincoln's mother made this quilt the year he was born in 1809.

Passing Pinwheels
This quilt is a custom product of the ladies and gentleman that attended the 2015 MSQC Fall Forum Retreat. Everyone participated in pinwheel construction and layout of the quilt. The result is a beautiful compilation of multi-direction spinning pinwheels. The fabrics come from my grandmothers stash and MSQC! We plan to gift the quilt to a shelter. I named it "Passing Pinwheels" after seeing this poem online. MISSOURI CHRISTMAS STARS. . . .Stash Busting Fun
It all started with a cousin who is recuperating from surgery. I wanted to make her a get well box. When I was researching ideas on Pinterest I saw these fabric origami stars. So I printed the instructions out, which were in Russian but came with pictures. Low and behold we have the Missouri Christmas Star to give away as gifts this Christmas. I was able to make 30 Stars in 2 days. My creative juices wonder if this pattern would work as a couch throw pillow. I am going to have to experiment and find out.
