Have been piecing/quilting for nearly 20 years in earnest now. I did make baby quilts when the children were very small 35+ years ago. My skill set is much better now. I currently work in a quilt shop so have a dream job.

Irish Chain
I used up some scraps from a Jelly Roll of Simply Style to create this Irish Chain. These are my favorite type of quilts - just scraps! I photographed it by the harbor of 99 Islands (Kujukushima) in Sasebo, Japan. The opening credits of 'The Last Samuri' were filmed here!

Big Star Quilt
Another one down the tube!! Over a year ago I took Jenny Doan's "Big Star" class. It started out to be a table topper, then I thought I should make it long enough to go on the back of my couch. A friend of mine pointed out that if I was going to do that, I needed to add another row so it could hang down the back of the couch so...this is the result. Finally finished it today.

3 Dudes A New Twist
Made with Burlap Solids jellyroll. I tried to go from light to dark like Rob did on his Man Sewing Tutorial, but it wasn't working out well with all the colors in this jellyroll, so I decided to just mix the colors up. Rather than doing the piano keys border, I decided to add a wide black border. This quilt goes together pretty quick. Thanks for the tutorial!
