3 Dudes A New Twist
Made with Burlap Solids jellyroll. I tried to go from light to dark like Rob did on his Man Sewing Tutorial, but it wasn't working out well with all the colors in this jellyroll, so I decided to just mix the colors up. Rather than doing the piano keys border, I decided to add a wide black border. This quilt goes together pretty quick. Thanks for the tutorial!

Christmas tree skirt
One down, three more to go! Making one of these Christmas tree skirts for each of the kids. Found the tutorial on Pinterest by sewcraftyjess. I changed it at bit, and added 1" unfinished white Kona cotton strips between each fabric, to make the colors pop. I like the scrappy look, hope the kids do too.

Hot Wasabi
Made this quilt for my Mom's birthday. This is the first quilt I've named. It was made using Kaffe Fassett's Fall 2013 Hot jellyroll that I purchased on a daily deal, and Robert Kaufaman Kona cotton Wasabi. Mom loves flamingos, so I chose Flamingo Paradise-Sunshine, also by Robert Kaufman for the backing.

Turkey Table Runner
Pictured in the Quilting Quickly magazine, I made four of these and sold them all at my church's craft sale. Each table runner is made with just one charm pack, yardage for the cream background and border fabric. I used a blanket stitch on my machine to stitch down the turkeys.

A coworker asked me to make her a baby quilt for her grand baby that was on the way. She supplied everything and I just put it together for her. I added an extra surprise with the nautical embroidery I used for basting. She wanted a nautical themed quilt, but couldn't find any fabric she liked for it. She loved it.
