Life's Adventures
This is a quilt made for my youngest daughter Laura to keep her cozy in her student house at University. She loves all things marine and travel so this encompasses (no pun intended) her hopes and dreams for the future and life experiences so far. The label reads: To Laura, wherever life's adventures take you, you will always have a hug from home. I really enjoyed making this quilt, especially making it up as I went along as inspiration struck.

I saw someone's window pane quilt with a Winter panel and was inspired to make one for myself. When I found this fabric It was offered as a kit. The kit didn't have this window look to it so I had to go to another site to download the pattern.

Summer in the park
During the summer 2014 I watched every evening The Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorials on youtube. All that were available and many repeatedly. Then I tried my first quilt. For my sister for christmas. I thought a deadline would help to start and finish and not give up during the way. It worked! It's of the size of a German bed. So happy with my new hobby!
