Scrappy 4-Patch Autumn Quilt
My grandmother made beautiful quilts. She passed when I was 14. I always wanted to make quilts but was too scared to attempt one. This was my second fabric purchase from MSQC, Happy Harvest charm pack by Doodlebug Designs for Riley Blake, purchased on a daily deal on 9/2/14, quilt top finished by 9/30/14. I supplemented with scrap fabrics I had on hand. It is a custom size made to fit my couch so my cuddle buddy and I can snuggle when winter comes around.

I was inspired by Jenny's tutorial and the very next day Summer Breeze 3 was the deal of the day. It had all my favorite colors. It was fate! I ordered my layer cake and waited on pins and needles for it to arrive. When it came it was so beautiful. I got right to work on it and am so pleased with it. I made it for a very special niece. I hope she loves it too.

Dresden wedding quilt
I made these blocks many years ago and put them away waiting for a special occasion for them. My daughter saw them and loved them so when she got engaged I knew this would be her wedding quilt. The colors pallet changed from the original one I had in mind though. Both grandmothers passed away before my daughter's wedding and she was saddened to think of them not being there so the pink in the quilt represents Rose, and the lavender was my mother's favorite color. She cried when she saw it.
