I banked 3 weeks of solitary quarantine so I could go visit my 87 year old grandmother this summer. She has the quilting ITCH. I sat too close, and caught the ITCH too!! We've grown such a special relationship sharing ideas and videos. For that reason alone, quilting is a priceless treasure for me.

Christmas Star
Jenny's Christmas version of the Starstruck quilt was the perfect pattern for my second quilt! Instead of making 1 king size with 1 lap size, I made 5 lap size quilts!! This is the first one!! This was my first attempt at Free Motion Quilting on my domestic machine. Its "rustic" so you may want to look with only 1 eyeball. ;)

Hearts Baby Quilt
This is my first time making hearts. While this turned out alright, I think instead of quadrants, I'd rather have half one fabric and half another fabric. I make and send out many baby quilts so I know this one will find a home, but I think I'll make another similar to this but less busy by changing fabric selections a bit.

Colorful Jacob's ladder quilt blocks
I had a duplicate post on my double wedding ring quilt that I hand bound, so I posted this work in progress- I've had this UFO for a while now. Jacob's ladder is my favorite pattern. I need to make more blocks. This is beautiful digitally printed fabric and batiks that I had left over from a Hunter's Star quilt that I made for my friend in Tennessee. The Hunter's Star quilt was posted years ago.

Recovering from surgery last November I was inspired but a wall hanging from Jordon Fabrics I wanted it to be bright cheerful and full of colours A happy quilt for brighter days. I really loved making it and learned a lot. Rachel was Longarm quilted by a lovely lady in Wales, a long way from Kent where I live but Debbie did an amazing job and I am thrilled with the result. I finished the 400 inches!! of hand binding yesterday I hope you like it

Dashing Stars
BLOCK magazine pattern Dashing Stars. Loved this huge block design. I wanted the secondary pattern of squares to look less random so I partially completed the blocks, laid them out and then finished the outer edges with the preferred ‘snowball’ colour for the secondary block.
