High School Graduation quilt
My Granddaughter graduated from High School last week so I made this t-shirt, memory quilt for her. She was ecstatic! It is the size of a large lap/throw and the t-shirt blocks are 12 inches square. I love all of the folks at Missouri Star Quilts and their tutorials!

Dad's Quilt
This is the second quilt I ever made and it was for my Dad. I used the Eleanor Burns pattern for the rail fence and made it in red/white/blue because my dad was a veteran. When my dad was still living, he was so proud to have this on his bed.

Sailboat Jellyroll Baby Quilt
This was made with a batik jellyroll. I added appliqued boats made from regular quilting fabric. I got feedback from some wonderful quilters on the Missouri Star Quilt Forum about how to quilt it. I love the way it turned out. My niece loved it as well and hung it in the baby's room over his bed.

Dresden Quilt
This traditional quilt was made with scraps of 1930's fabrics in my stash. The blades were machine pieced and the plates were then hand appliques to the background squares. The fabrics in this quilt remind me of my Grandma Nan and Great Grammy Rose. These women were the angels who taught me to sew, knit, crochet and embroider. My Great Grammy Rose was the quilter in the family and my Grandma Nan made beautiful garments and crochet. This quilt is a tribute to them.

This quilt was for my Grandson Jesse when he graduated high school. It's simply 5 inch squares framed with 2 1/2 inch strips. It's the same pattern as the Luna Notte quilt.

The Curious Reindeer
This is a heavily appliqued wall hanging that I created to hang over my fireplace for Christmas, 2014. I hand sketched everything and then transferred it to fabric. I have since seen a similar pattern for sale. It was lots of fun to make and seems to make everyone smile.
