Married to the love of my life. Mother to one, and granny to 3. My 3 grandchildren are the center of my world. I quilt every chance I get. The main focus of my quilts are for a local PICU, that is near and dear to my heart. I also make quilts for another charity that us special to me. I have made quilts for everyone in my family.

The inspiration for this quilt is the Falling Charms Quilt. I created this quilt with a broken hearted child in mind. I had read a story on the internet about a young girl that had been attacked. I have made quilts for all of my sisters and mom. My grand children all have quilts I have made. I make most of my quilts for charity....but hubby wanted one of his own. His passion, is bass fishing. He fishes almost all year round, which is fine with me. He loves his bass boat and all of his equipment, but was missing a quilt from his honey. So this is what I made him.

Garden of Violets
I love Jenny's flower garden quilt. My idea was to make an all violet one. Once I had the blocks together it looked kind of boring, I appliqued the yellow centers, stems and leaves, as an after thought. This was donated to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis.

Falling Scrappy 4 Patch

More Irish Chains
I made 5 Irish Chain quilts in early 3013. Here are two more. One was made after my embroidered butterfly quilt shrank and no longer fit the bed! I gave it to my sister for Christmas. The other was my first purple and green, it ended up way too big for a twin bed! It is a generous queen!
