X0X0 Quilt and Colorado Block Pillow
I used Jenny's tutorial for the piecing of the XO quilt and the techniques from Jera Brandvig's book "Quilt As You Go Made Modern" for finishing. This is my first large project. It was very easy and I'm happy with the results. I used the scraps from the quilt along with Jenny's tutorial for the Colorado block to make the matching pillow top.

Keeping Up Tradition (Baby Quilt 4)

Rainbow String Quilt
This was my first string quilt, made entirely from scraps. My scraps are sorted by color, so it was easy to create blocks by color. I didn't have a plan when I started making the blocks;I was simply experimenting with foundation piecing. This quilt makes me smile every time I look at it; of dozens of quilts I've made in the past three years, it's by far my fave! It hangs in my sewing room.

Patchwork of the Crosses in Red and White
I hand pieced this miniature. It's 18.5" x 18.5". Also hand quilted. I entered this quilt in Sauders Quilt Show in Archbold Ohio and received a third place. The hand piecing is done using a running stitch. The stitching lines were provided by Inklingo

A Summery Bath Makeover!
My bathroom needed a makeover but I didn't want to spend a ton of cash. So I picked up a plain white fabric shower curtain at Target on clearance for $8. Then I used some left-over scraps of a World Tour jellyroll purchased from a MSQC Daily Deal (a couple of years ago) and created a bordered Summer in the Park pattern. I used a spray basting method to line it all up and then stitched it down. It really brightens up my bathroom!

Square in a Square
Jenny did a tutorial on the Square in a Square and I fell in love with it. When the Bare Essentials Black and White was the deal of the day I knew it was perfect for this pattern. I was right!! I use 1 charm pack and 1 jelly roll in the Bare Essentials line. And half of a jelly roll each of the black and white solids.

Make Believe Aunt Clara's Quilt
I purchased 14 yards of 30's repo fabrics when one of my favorite quilt stores closed (The Quilt Coop, Clarinda, Iowa) j- and held onto it until I was a picture of Aunt Clara's Quilt - but it was set in black and I knew I wanted white. I played around and came up with something I fell in love with - and I learned a whole lot about snowballing blocks.

Shoofly Don't Bother Me
This is a quilt for a two-year-old. I used some novelty squares and pieced them into the center of the traditional Shoofly block. I stitched in the ditch only.
