I’ve just finished the 2nd quilt I have ever made. The first was for my daughter before she was born. The second is for her youngest son. Now I am ready to get into quilting!!! I enjoy the process and think I have an awful lot to learn.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas I Spy Quilt
This panel and coordinating fabric came out in 2011, shortly after I started seriously quilting. The panel pieces were all different sizes, but are exact replicas of the art in the book by Dr. Seuss. I couldn't figure out how to build a quilt using all those different sized blocks, but after completing almost 100 quilts over the past 3 years, I figured out how to put them together using familiar techniques and small blocks to build rows as the story progresses.

Rabbit basket sewing supply quilt

The money earned helps the homeless people in our area with a supply of towels, soap , underwear, socks and related items . And unsold quilts are donated to homeless people or last your to home for unwed mothers.

My niece had just had her 5th child. I had made all of the previous ones a quilt at birth and one on their 1st birthday. I decided to design something different for Raeanna. Here is her window seat from an attic window with 2 chenille cats and 3 dimensional pillows. I brought it in to show my guild and they insisted I get it copyrighted.

Let it snow!
