I have sewn and crafted most of my life. Quilting was never a 'love' of mine until the summer of 2015. My sister was a quilter, she passed away from ovarian cancer and left behind a legacy of making quilts for our family. She had a 'mugrug' on her desk that I fell in love with. I went home and created about 30 mugrugs that summer. I also designed a theme quilt for my oldest daughter and made some rag rugs. I still really like smaller projects, but I am determined to continue the legacy and make sure that all of the great grandchildren of my parents have a quilt in memory of my sister.
