I grew up a "4-H" kid (Head, Heart, Hands, Health) and I guess my life has always followed that principal. That may be why I became a nurse...being able to work with my head and hands, healing and caring for folks and improving their health. I think it also has lead me in the direction of growing, crafting and building things using my head for creativity and heart for passion about the quality of work that I do. Plus it raised a desire in me to learn new things and to respect those that teach us. I just started sewing and quilting this past December and I have found that I am having a lot of fun with it!...especially after watching Jenny's tutorials!
