I always wanted to be able to sew, my Grandpa gave me my grandma's little Singer 99k and I really did enjoy using it but I was 11 years old and no one to teach me properly. Then 40 years later my neighbour invited me to quilting class/group, and away I went, what has rekindled my love of sewing though was the Singer 222k which my husband bought me, OMG what a little honey of a machine, next thing I know have have a collection of vintage machines, about 30......well I stopped collecting but still enjoy restoring and using my vintage babies. I have made quite a few Quilts and now the class no longer exists, I feel confident to make all my quilts at home, I have everything I need for success, my neighbour still lives next door, she helps with any advice, and now I have The Missouri Quilt Co. Online tutorials to guide me along.
