I learned to sew before I was 10 thanks to my Mother; I started quilting in 1992 and carry on my paternal grandmother's quilting traditions. I give creations to those I care about and love. I lean towards creating smaller projects (wall hanging, table toppers, baby and lap size quilts) as my sewing space and machine wants are not obtainable! I hand quilt instead of machine quilt; it fits my budget, but not my time. I like to alter quilt patterns or make them as I go! I am a mother of a blended family: 5 kids and 5 grandkids (so far). Our family is very spread all over the country and we keep up with social media! Hopefully, one day we can all be closer together.
