I'm a self taught quilter (first finished quilt Nov 2011) but really love the whole quilt making process from design to hand sewing the binding :) I also love seeing all the beautiful quilts people make. I'm a mom of a very beautiful little girl and whenever possible I quilt. It really is a great creative expression and very relaxing. Garden Paths
This quilt was made using Kona "citrus" solids jelly roll. Center squares were "garden treasures" purchased through Missouri Star Quilt Company "daily deal" for $1.78. White paths were made from honey buns. The pattern used was Jungle Paths free from Kona. I added an extra row to the bottom, thinking I was going to use it as a tablecloth, but it came out so pretty that I decided not to use it.

I have a niece and her name is Diane - She is the same age as my daughter and they have been forever friends and cousins. Since i have started quilting I have made several quilts for my daughter, granddaughter, son, grandson, etc. My niece wanted a quilt, so for her very special birthday I made her one. Her special colours were grey, white and purple.
