I live a sweet and simple life in the heart of North Carolina. I love God, my family & friends. I have a passion for quilting. My mother taught me to sew when I was 10 years old and my first project was a yellow plaid mini skirt, it had one seam and an elastic waist. For years I made my clothes, baby clothes, curtains, place mats, pillows, bed skirts and costumes. I always wanted to quilt and my husband bought me a new fancy sewing machine in 2010. I stumbled onto Jenny Doan's tutorials, and what a blessing that was! I have made more than 125 quilts since then and I have loved every step of the way.
